"Right from the first phone call we had a great experience, he answered all of our questions and as a first time home buyer I had a lot. He worked around our schedule to see houses, and when we went to see them he had a really good eye for detail. We got our dream home and got a very good deal on it and couldn't be happier. We have already recommended him to family and friends, and if we ever decided to sell/buy in the future he would be my first phone call."

"Dick Barr sold our home in 10 days. A true professional who guided us in every aspect of the sale. Dick always responded to our phone calls within a few hours. He is very knowledgeable about the area. Dick always notified when the next step would occur i.e. Inspection, appraisal, survey, etc. I highly recommend his services, you won't be disappointed."

"Ted and Kaitlyn writes:We purchased our first home with Dick's assistance back in October of 2015. From the very beginning he was friendly and approachable. Dick was also very knowledgable about the areas we were looking at. He walked us through some of the things we should and should not worry about as first time home buyers. When we first spoke with Dick we were looking for an older home on a large plot, Dick suggested that we might also want to look at some town homes as they could be a good fit for us. We initially were against buying a town home but after we looked at a few we really liked we decided that would be a good fit for us. Dick was also knowledgable about government programs for first time home buyers, if it wasn't for Dick we would have missed out on 5,000 of interest free money. The one area of improvement I would reccomend for Dick is further evaluating his mortgage broker partners he works with. We worked with a mortgage broker company Dick recommended called MidWest Equity that we did not have a positive experience with. Although we had a bad experience with MidWest Equity Dick handled the situation well and overall we had a positive experience with him and we would recommend him to others."

"Dick gave us realistic expectations for the sale of our house and gave us recommendations to maximize our potential offers. Dick brought us a buyer before the house was even listed and we were able to go under contract quickly at a price that exceeded our expectations. Dick handled all the major points of negotiation with the buyer and did a great job ensuring that things got done on time (inspections, surveys, appraisals, etc.). If you are a seller or a buyer, I recommend Dick because he is: knowledgeable of local market conditions, well connected, a savvy marketer, and an astute negotiator. Dick is the best Realtor in the area Barr None!"

"Short version: Dick Barr is extremely knowledgeable in the business of selling and purchasing a home, and will go above and beyond for each of his clients. From beginning to end, each step of the way, it is very apparent that this is his area of expertise. The sale: To start, Dick came to our home for a consultation and gave us insightful tips on how to increase the value of our home before selling, checking in along the way while we were making our home improvements to make sure we were on pace to sell at an optimal time of year. Once we were ready to sell, he came with his professional-grade camera equipment (including a drone for aerial footage of the neighborhood!!) for the best possible photos to increase the amount of attention we would get from potential buyers. The app he had us use to set up walk-throughs for our buyers was easy to use, and made for a seemless process. He communicated offers immediately, giving us his expert opinion with each offer, fiercely negotiated on our behalf in a professional but firm manner, and got our home under contract, for more than our asking price, with such ease. The purchace: Dick took the time to listen to exactly what we were looking for in a home, sent us daily lists of available homes within our price range to consider, made himself available for showings, helped us stay focused on what we wanted in a home, gave us his expert opinion what it came time to put in an offer, and got us under contract for our home at less than the asking price (which is basically unheard of in the current market). The entire process was simple and enjoyable.Speaking as a first-time home seller, a second-time home buyer, and a mom who's brain is pulled into a million directions at any given moment, my favorite part about working with Dick was that he made a point to thoroughly explain every step of the buying/selling process in real-time, making himself available to answer every single (probably annoying) question I had along the way. I never ended a conversation with Dick confused, frustrated, or feeling like I wasn't a priority to him. It cannot be understated how awesome (and rare) that quality is. He gave us excellent quality service, and when the time comes to do this again, we will be choosing to work with Dick Barr every time, and so should you. 10/10 recommend."

"We had a great experience with Dick Barr. He had our home under contract in 5 days and made a good deal on our new house. He has surpassed being up to date in his field when it comes to his videos (great videos) of your home and how he markets it. The best part of working with Dick was how he nit-picked every house from the construction to the paint. Even the tiniest of cracks he would point out so you knew what you were buying and for stronger negotiations. His knowledge was exactly what I wanted when I walked in to every house. Plus he's a funny guy with a little bit of sarcasm which just makes you feel comfortable when working with him. He's very good at what he does."
